The BBNaija Season 11 "Show Ya Sef" house has experienced one of its most eventful weeks yet, with a disqualification, a double eviction, a new Head of House and another MIPOW winner reshaping the competition.
Nomy Disqualified From the Show
Nomy's BBNaija journey came to an abrupt end on September 7 after Big Brother revoked her privilege to participate in the reality show.
The disqualification followed another violation while she was serving as the Benchwarmer. As part of her punishment, Nomy had been instructed to remain on her assigned bench and wear a designated vest.
However, she left the bench and also abandoned the vest, prompting Big Brother to confront her over her failure to follow his instructions.
The latest violation came after Nomy had previously received a strike and a final warning for repeatedly disregarding Big Brother's directives.
After hearing her response, Big Brother reminded Nomy that being part of the reality show was a privilege and announced that the privilege had been revoked with immediate effect.
Tram Becomes Week 7 HoH
The house also got a new Head of House as Tram won the Week 7 HoH challenge, securing his first victory in the position this season.
Flora joined him in the HoH loft as his companion.
Meanwhile, the housemates lost their weekly wager, adding to what was already a difficult week for the "Show Ya Sef" contestants.
Aikou Named Week 7 MIPOW
Aikou also had reason to celebrate after being named the Most Influential Player of Week 7.
The MIPOW title recognises the housemate whose energy, effort and overall contribution stand out during the week. Aikou's win earned him BB Bucks, but unlike some previous MIPOW winners, the title did not come with immunity.
This means Aikou's victory offered recognition and a reward without providing protection from the eviction process.
The Nomination Twist Puts 13 Housemates at Risk
Big Brother introduced another twist ahead of the week's eviction.
The housemates were required to search for 14 red envelopes hidden around the house. While one contained the word "SAFE", the remaining envelopes contained "GOTCHA".
Keivo found the envelope containing the immunity card, after which Tram used his veto to confirm Keivo's safety.
The remaining eligible housemates were exposed to the public vote.
Abi, Aikou, Araga, Barry, Bells, Bluethopia, Chimsom Chuka, Flora, Oyin, Ricky, Sheba, Temi Nkem and Yusuf were subsequently placed on the eviction list.
Abi and Araga Evicted
Sunday's Live Eviction Show ended with two more housemates leaving the competition.
Bluethopia narrowly survived eviction with 5.40 percent of the votes, while Araga received 4.83 percent and Abi 2.63 percent.
With the two lowest vote percentages, Abi and Araga were evicted from the "Show Ya Sef" house.
Abi's exit marks the end of a significant run in the competition. The 25-year-old model and chef won the Head of House title in Weeks 4 and 6, making her the first female housemate to win the position twice this season. She also became MIPOW after Week 4.
Araga, 29, was another familiar face in the house and featured in several storylines throughout the season, including his relationship with previously evicted housemate Goddessa.
With Nomy disqualified and Abi and Araga evicted, Week 7 has dramatically changed the shape of the competition.
Fourteen housemates now remain in the race, with the road to the finale becoming even more unpredictable as the "Show Ya Sef" house enters another week.
