Olamide is set to headline London’s The O2 Arena for the first time on March 25, 2027, as the Nigerian rapper and YBNL Nation founder prepares for the biggest London headline show of his career.
The concert will see the artist take on the 20,000-capacity venue, joining fellow Nigerian stars Wizkid, Davido, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema, who have also headlined the arena. The announcement marks another significant step in Olamide’s international journey, following his sold-out performance at OVO Arena Wembley in November 2025.
According to "The O2’s official event listing" the show will feature a career-spanning set celebrating different eras of his music, from the street-hop anthems that established his name to more recent releases. Special guest performances from Afrobeats and UK music acts are also expected to be announced.
For Olamide, the concert represents more than a move to a larger venue. It places an artist whose music has helped shape Nigerian street-pop and Yoruba-language rap on one of the most recognisable stages in international live entertainment.
Since emerging in the Nigerian music scene, Olamide has built a catalogue that blends Yoruba and English, connecting with audiences through street-inspired storytelling, rap and infectious hooks. His influence has also extended beyond his own music through YBNL Nation, the record label he founded in 2012.
The label has helped develop several prominent Nigerian acts, including Asake, Fireboy DML and Adekunle Gold. Their individual successes have further strengthened Olamide’s reputation as an artist and executive whose influence reaches across generations of Afrobeats performers.
His forthcoming O2 concert therefore carries an added significance. Beyond celebrating his own catalogue, it offers an opportunity to recognise the wider musical movement he has helped build and the artists who have emerged from that ecosystem.
The announcement follows Olamide’s November 2025 performance at OVO Arena Wembley, where he brought out several guest performers, including Asake, Seyi Vibez, Lil Kesh and Darkoo. Moving from Wembley to The O2 represents another step in the scale of his London headline shows.
The O2 has become an important venue for Nigerian artists seeking to demonstrate their international drawing power. Wizkid’s 2018 Afrorepublik concert marked an early landmark, while subsequent shows by Davido, Burna Boy, Asake and Rema reflected the growing presence of Nigerian music on the global touring circuit.
Olamide’s upcoming performance adds another chapter to that story, bringing a figure who helped shape the sound of modern Nigerian street music to the same stage.
